Description: Our client is looking for a SAS Programmer who will be responsible for developing programs in a GLP environment to generate datasets for listings, summaries and analyses; and produce custom tables. Review data to verify integrity and consistency for completeness, accuracy and suitability, including data adherence to protocol, data coding integrity, reliability of collection and interpretation. Utilize and understand current in-house SAS programs. Combine data from multiple sources and reformat to produce analysis datasets. Create SAS programs according to requirement specifications and following SOPs to produce accurate and timely results. Develop summaries, data listings and graphs for statistical analysis and/or report writing. Perform statistical analysis under the direction of a statistician. Maintain organized, complete and up-to-date study documentation, testing and validation/quality control documents and programs in compliance with company standards. Provide recommendations for improving efficiency and data storage organization.
Requirements: • Candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent years of "on the job" experience with at least 2 to 5 years of experience in programming. At least two years of experience in SAS is required; including SAS macros, arrays, SQL, and SAS/GRAPH. Candidate should demonstrate good organizational and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Source Save (VSS), Microsoft Access, and different formats (.rtf, .html) a plus
